Who Am I?

Who Am I?

Who am I and what am I all about? So simple, but so deep and passionate to my identity. The drive behind my existence is my deep love for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my life.

I am a worshiper, I am a mouthpiece, I am the bough of the boat, the plow that breaks the ground that others fear to tread, I wear my heart on my sleeve and display my intimate conversations with my God in the music I sing with all my soul. I am His instrument and allow Him to play me any way He chooses. I’m a work in progress, and far from perfect, but all that I am is only because of my Lord.

He has been with me through the waters, given beauty for my ashes, restored my days of youth that left me for dead. He has done amazing things with me I never dreamed possible. He rescued me and made a work of art in my life…how could I give Him less than all of me with all that He has given me? There is no holding back, no excuses, no “just getting by”, no settling for less.

My success happened years ago when I said yes to His every direction and allowed Him to take me “through the waters”. There is much pain, suffering, growth, maturation and absolute joy from my real life experiences that are painted in the music that He has breathed through my soul. I regret none of it. Each day with Him is new, each trial and victory is sweet and I eagerly wait as He unveils my eyes through each one. My life’s goal is to know Him more, to love Him more, to serve Him with all my heart, to praise Him boldly, even if it means ridicule, and to allow Him to use me to draw others closer to Him.

In simpler terms: I am an artist of voice, lyric & melody devoted to only one Savior.
